Software reviews written by people who opened the account

We test business software on accounts we pay for, run the same task list on every product in a category, and check every price against the vendor's own page on the day of writing.

How we test

Every review starts with
An account we opened ourselves, on a trial or a paid plan. Never a vendor demo account.
Every product faces
The same task list as its competitors, so the comparison means something.
Every price is
Checked against the vendor's own page on the day of writing, with the region noted.
Every review ends with
An export and a cancellation test, because leaving matters as much as joining.
Every article is
Checked by a second person before publication, and dated so you know how current it is.
Nobody pays for
A review, a score, a ranking, or advance sight of what we wrote.

The full process, including what we score and how much each criterion counts, is published in our testing methodology. How the work is checked before publication is set out in our editorial policy. Found an error? Tell us and we will correct it.
